How We Accidentally Made the Tortilla Blanket Our Most-Used Blanket

The original plan for the tortilla blanket was just as a joke We would get a few laughs maybe do a fun cheesy pic and then put the blanket away and forget about it. But then it started getting really really cold outside and it became the blanket that everyone smokes for first.

It started on the couch Of course it was the first blanket to come on a couch-hangout. We fully committed and wrapped the blanket around ourselves. The surprise hit was that it was actually warm Not too heavy but nice and warm. The size was good too It was easy to grab and wrap around ourselves and we didn’t have to rearrange a lot of the couch to grab a blanket It became clear because it was quite convenient.

The clear clincher about the Tortilla blanket was the washablility It was the first blanket that became a giant blanket to go to the “school” of other serious blankets. It felt good to wash the giant blankets and then find sad, stiff shrank blankets that have sad, stiff, shrank circuits that have sad, stiff, shrank well you get the idea. It felt okay to wash the blanket because it never felt like it was precious.Its size turned out to be a factor too. It’s large enough to cover legs or to be used as a shawl, but not large enough to take over a couch. It folds tucks into baskets and won’t take up an entire shelf. Practical wins like that add up quickly.

Even the design helped It’s a round, pattered blanket Because of this, it looks intentional to be draped. It looks like a blanket mess. Solid throw blankets sometimes look like a blanket mess. It blends in without being boring.

Slowly but surely the novelty of the blanket tortilla blanket died out, and the blanket earned its place to be used as a staple blanket. It became the blanket in the house that was used the most. It earned the title without trying.
